URGENT HELP!!
URGENT HELP!!
Im in a dilemna here, after cleaning the throttle body and everything was put back in place, the car's rpm became unstable oftentimes dropping to 0 rpm. Rpm would deliberately drop to 0 rpm when braking from neutral... this would happen more during mornings when engine is still cold. I was having this problem for 2 weeks now. I dont know what to look at, the tps, the throttle body itself, the ecu, electricals or the engine itself. I would appreciate ur inputs, thanx guys

Assuming you have no air leaks(like from a bad gasket), perhaps check the TPS first. Could be IAC also. The ECU and electricals should be fine for the most part unless you frayed a wire or damaged them. If it throwing codes at you, perhaps take to the dealer(or other places that might have a scanner) and have it scanned. From there you can decide if its something you can fix or not..

You reset your ecu? Leave your battery disconnected for 10 minutes and then let her run till the car warms up...that might help as well...
Give a PM to Grey, he just got through issues when he touched his throttle body (:rolleyes
