1. The light bulbs you are using have too much wattage (stock is 55/60w...you should stay close to this)
2. The light bulbs just plain suck (cheap brand)
3. He touched it with his fingers (oil kills the bulb)
4. Your wiring harness can't handle your bulb

Answer is simple....
1. Buy PIAA or MTEC bulbs
2. Clean the glass with windex and tissue before putting it on
3. Enjoy...

edit: You can find MTEC bulbs on ebay starting $3... they are as good as PIAA's

1. lights are exact same wattage
2. they're sylvania silverstars, so they're not cheap
3. i installed them so there's no oil cause i wear latex gloves when doin any work to my car
4. the wiring harnes had no problem for the first 5 months, and now its all of the sudden

their has gotta be somtin else, i wish i new.

Latex burns too, even a few molecules, just be careful and dont touch the glass, even with gloves on, if that doesnt work, check the wiring.

i think ur problem is that theres oil on the bulb. when u change bulbs always wipe the buld with rubbing alcohol NOT WINDEX windex contains ammonia and other stuff that leaves residue on the bulb. rubbing alcohol leaves no residue and works perfectly everytime. also be sure not to scratch the glass on the bulb. hope this works

I had some APC superwhites, yea big mistake, burned out in 6 months, now I have silverstars, no probs yet I switched em when 1 APC burned out about hmmm? 2-3months ago. I had silverstars in my old car and had 1 burn out, just replaced the one and it was fine, but I didnt have the car for over a year after I put the new one in, so who knows maybe my silverstars will eventually die too.
