brought car to car wash, now shifter area makes noises
i was wondering what parts, cables or wires could have been snagged by the mechanisms of the car wash because when i start the car up and don't have my foot on the breaks, a clicking noise starts to emanate from the shifter area. i drive an automatic btw. i brought the car to two shops and i couldn't induce the noise so im guessing it happens only when its cold. brought it to the dealership and the noise couldnt be heard even after leaving it there for one night. they replaced a solonoid sp? but that didn't solve the problem.
now the noise is not as random i can make the clicking noise by pressing and releasing the break rapidly while parked. guess its the break lock ?
anyone know the dangers of bringing a lowered car into a machine wash? anyway HELP!! tytyty
separate issue:
sonar projector headlamps
how do i adjust the focus? theyre unlike other projectors where there is a screw to adjust em.
TIA!

This might not be your problem, but I wonder if its from the cat. converter getting wet. There's a TSB that mentions that in wet weather the exhaust system makes a buzzing sound.. or sumptin like that. Again, probably not your problem but who knows..
SUPYO the sonar issue.... i haven't had the time to pop my hood but the last time i looked at teh lamps.. i saw arrrows and the L R on the top of the lamp.. i assuming that's the location where the adjustment screws are... i need to adjust mine too
