Oil Drain Interval
I just purchased a new 02' Honda Civic. Maint. manual specs. 10k mile oil/filter change interval. I was very surprised. I'm not comfortable going with a 10k mile interval unless I'm using a good synthetic oil. There are not a lot of 5W-20 synthetics available from what I can tell. Does anyone have opinions as to the interval, any good oils to recommend? Suppliers around Baltimore?

4000-5000 miles using Synthetic oil.
