Car Died

I was leaving school today and I had been driving for maybe 5 minutes and I had to stop at a light to make my left and while I was sitting there it felt like my car stalled out. Well I have an auto so it wasnt like I slipped off the clutch, I look at my RPM's and sure nuff it was on 0. I was like f**k now what I tried to crank it back up but nothing. Of course by now Im pissed of its an 02 car almost brand new it should just be dying on me. Well I remembered back to this past weekend when I took my system and the wires out I had to undo a fuse to take I think it was the remote wire out(turns out its the ignition fuse) and I stuck it in wrong and the car wouldnt crank. So I took the plastic under the wheel off and reached under and found the fuses, when I would press in on the ignition fuse I could start the car but as soon as I let off of it the car would die again. I half *** it to the mall driving while hold in the fuse and trying to steer. I took the fuse out and it wasnt blown so I stuck it back in and it did the same thing. I called my sister at this point thinkin **** time to be towed. Pulled the fuse out one more time and jammed it back in and to my surprise it cranked up as normal but it idled a lil higher than normal, so my sis gets there and we head for my house well I stop at a light and I notice my RPM's still a lil higher than normal then it kinda just drops back down to where it normally sits. Am I in trouble, is it just a fuse or something major. Someone please help

Not sure about the fuse block, maybe check the wires in the back. About it idling a little higher, this is common if the engine temp drops. It should however go back to normal idle speed after the engine is warm again.

I was leaving the highway into an exit ramp. As I was slowing down to about 30mph my car died on me. I had to crank it back up. I then stop the car and everything was ok. but the mystery was why did my car died on me?
