TSB didn't fix it... now what?
Well, I am getting seriously pissed off now. This was the 2nd trip for the squeaky clutch, first time, the pedals were to blame (BS), this time, they did the TSB fix (grease the fitting)... Still squeaking and clicking... So what's next? Clutch Master Cylinder Replacement? Something else? I'm tempted to walk in there give them the keys and tell them, " Rip the whole linkage apart, replace everything, and don't call me until the squeak is gone."
Has anyone made it passed the TSB and not had it fixed? My car is in for service more than it's in my driveway.

If they only greased things up, then they didn't follow the TSB. Yes, I believe replacing the clutch master cylinder is part of the TSB.
edit: I think only 01 Civics need the cylinder replaced. I just checked the TSB and it's not there...but I know I've heard/read it somewhere.

sucks that the dumb TSB didn't work.
it's discouraging of course that the TSB says that the squeak comes not from some part needing lube, but from some tube or part that shouldn't be moving, moving!
i have to take it in for the same reason, but it's become really rare now that i moved my seat back a bit more.

People put up TSBs and everyone thinks they got a problem.
Have you tried laying on your back and putting your head up underneath the clutch pedal while depressing it? I am almost positive you will identify your culprit if you do. Once you find what is making the noise, put some grease on it and kiss it good-bye.
I had the same problem on mine. It was the part that went through the firewall that slides in and out of a cylinder. Sounds like the same thing you have.
Had the same problem on a '93 accord. Grease a spring once a yr and no noise.
I think the problem stemming to the master cylinder is a lot less prevalent in our cars than it seems.

It is under the hood. I know this because:
a) it is louder outside the car than it is inside with the doors shut.
b) I can almost figure out exactly where under the hood it is (right side, somewhere right about even with the back of the block near where the engine would attach to the transmission). Opening the hood makes even more noticable. Possibly the mechanism that engages the clutch????
and I already tried to grease the pedal before I took it in the 1st time.
Even more fun... there must be air in the system. I went to downshift to get on the highway this morning, and the pedal went almost all the way to the floor with no resistance. It's been happening all day. I'm guessing they didn't bleed the system after they disconnected the fitting that the TSB says to grease. So I called the dealer, they now think something is seriously wrong somewhere in there. I was basically told to drive it as little as possible until I can get it back in there. So as soon as the seat bushings get there (friday), it's going back... now 3 times for the clutch and they still can't find the problem.
