No clue.. maybe someone else knows but I'm afraid you're stuck with it. The hard plastic is scratched, right?

This is an unfortunate problem with the plastic. It's so cheap and brittle, you can scratch it with your fingernail. I have scratches everywhere. Whenever installers work on the car, some plastic part always gets broken.

I had the same problem when I had dynamat installed in the door panels. When they put the panel back on, the door lock was loose! Luckily some electrical tape around the hole fixed that.

Our plastic isn't that bad I don't think. Pontiac has the WORST plastic! Their interiors look so cheap.

Well considering that the Civic is still an "economy" car, and is the lowest model in Honda/Acura's lineup.....

i have a 2003 grand prix gtp, and the plastic on it is alot nicer than the cheap *** rattling plastic in my civic... ! Civic has thin cheap plastic. Hella rattles. I have no problems with the plastic inside of my grand prix.

a new grand prix GTP cost like 35000$ + ...it is really powerful but I from the outside it does not seem a 35000$ car.
