Less rattles when damp?

Less rattles when damp?
Does anyone notice that there is less rattling when the weather is damp and humid or raining, than when it is dry, even if the temperature is about the same, maybe 40-50 degrees. It seems as if the car is absorbing all that moisture in the air and using it as a sound insulator.
