just replace honda air filter...problem

i just replaced my air filter and now my engine sounds wierd....like a metal rattling kind of.....for those who changed their air filters....did you have any problems with it?

I replaced my air filter with a k&n air filter 2 weeks ago and I haven't had any problems. Certainly no metal rattling sounds. Hopefully you didn't drop any screws in there! Did you replace with a Honda air filter?

if he dropped sumthin' in there...and it makes it's want down the bottom, it'll leadn to the throttle body...(7th gen throttle facing up!) Uh Oh!!!

Or maybe you just forgot to tightend on of the bolts or sumthing in the engine bay...[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG]

BTW...There have been a few recalls on the new vics(one has to do with this)

Are you talking about a slight metallic vibration sound each time you press the gas? If yes, then all you have to do is tighten the bolts on the air filter box. I had the exact same problem -- sound disappeared after I tightened it properly.
