Alignments? (How often?)
Hey, just wondering if anyone could help me out here. How often does everyone recomend front end or all wheel alignments? I have 25,000 miles on my '01 EX. After installing 17" wheels with wider tires I noticed my car starting to pull alot? Ive tried different tire pressures but no luck. When I had my tires rotated recently the guy said I might want to get an alignment soon. How often do you guys get alignments. Car is stock height, no drop just 17s. Thanks.

I would try that but my tires have a directional tread patern and that would mean I would have to pay to have the tires swapped from rim to rim and rebalanced. Thanks for the help though.

I had my alignment done maybe 10 months after I had the car and the guy said it was way off....then again, I live in PA where the roads really suck...so if you have nice roads, maybe only once a year...but if you have really crappy roads, you may be looking @ more than once a year...better to pay the money to have it aligned than to lose your investment in wheels/tires due to misalignment...
However, alignment is not always necessary after installing new rims. My tires are like your, directional. So, what I find after I had my car aligned is that they still pull either to the left or right...that is because of the really grippy tread, and depending on the road surface, it could really bite into the pavement. But ad long as your car doesn't pull to either side hard when u brake, u should be in good shape...
Hope this helps...

Go with the lifetime alignment at Firestone...
Definitely a good deal. For the length of time you own the vehicle you can have it aligned as much as you want it aligned. LOok into it...[hr]

Damn, thats a pretty good deal! Wish they had that around here...the most I got was free wheel balancing for the life of the tires...
