Trunk release not working

For some reason that last time I locked my trunk release it got stuck and now I can't unlock it. I have to manually walk over to the trunk and unlock it there. The gas cap release still works. I've tried locking and unlocking it many times but it just doesn't work (and yes, I'm using the regular key...not the valet key). Any suggestions? Should I just take it to the dealer?

(btw, 02 EX coupe)

the same happened to me a couple of months ago, it feels like when you put your key in it doesnt do anything when you turn it, i just kept triying until it worked, but it took about 30 minutes to do it, a couple of days ago i tried to lock it again, and it didnt lock. Im taking it to the dealer next week.

Do dealers ever have a problem with modded cars? I'm not too worried since so far I just have asthetic mods, and nothing major, but at what point DO they have a problem?

I had a similar problem. The spring that pops the door open fell out. I had to have a friend push/pry the door open while I pressed the fuel door release. Lucky for me the spring was still trapped in there.
