hahah the gas light came on today so i drove about 5 miles to the cheaper 76 station and i filled up 13.475 gallons. Explain this to me? our tank is supposedly 13.2 hahaha. COnfused...the car didnt die on me or anything. thats crazy, my gas light usually comes on when i have at least 2 gallons left. if yours is like that too, that would mean you would be adding 13.4 gallons on top of 2 already in the 13.2 gallon tank. they probably make up for the lower gas prices by giving you less than a gallon for each gallon you pay for

In Florida there is a inspection sticker on each pump, with the date of the inspection by the state, make sure its up to date.

That's because you have a very cheap and inaccurate gauge that attempts to give you an estimate of how much fuel you have in your tank. A few weeks ago, I put in more than 13.5 gallons in my '02 Civic coupe. I still think that the Marathon station is ripping people off by probably filling 0.9 gallons for every claimed gallon. Tip #1: When the pump snaps, do not pump more gas. My dad used to always pump a few cents more after the handle snapped, and sure the Gas Gauge broke like three times! (Dodge Van)

Tip #2: Fill gas in the morning or night..... i read something that gas expands with heat. I think it's true. How do i think i'm right?
Drive around in the afternoon, park the car overnight. Come back in the morning, and turn it on.. WHERE DID MY GAS GO?

Tip #3: Do not breathe the fumes, find another way to get high.
