Clean your windshield really good with a 50/50 solution of water/vinegar. Then clean your wipers with isoprophil alcohol. That should help.

Dude, your single blade wipers only skip when going *UP* the window, right? This is because everytime you use your wipers you park them in the "going down" direction. They sit in the sun and take a set... then when they go up the window they don't want to flex that way and bounce.

The easy solution is to get silicone wiper blades, which don't take a set as bad.

Another thing you can do (FREE) is to flip the blades over in their resting spot on the windshield so that they lean going up. If you're like me, you'll remember to do it about half the time, which is about right.

The double-blade wipers are crap. The spring force in the wiper arm is typically barely sufficient for one blade. When you distribute the force across two blades, it just makes matters worse.

Use rain-x, it cleans the window really well as it does it's trick.
