transmission
When I'm slowing down from like 60 or so to take a turn at about 40 mph it jerks forward like it has trouble down shifting(it also does it sometimes around 25). Like from 4th to 3rd, and 3rd to 2nd. Asked dealer twice and said somthing about each wheel is independant and when going uphill it may downshift to make up speed and going downhill may be trying to downshift to compensate slowing down?????whatever. Does anyone else have this trouble?

Well the Dealer is sort of right because a Automatic will try to adjust for different speeds, but that still doesn't fix your problem. Have you a had a Dealer Tech ride with you so you can show him exactly whats happening. If they say thats the way it is, demand to them that you want to drive another Civic on the lot to see if it does it also. I've heard a lot of people on this site complaining about automatic transmissions, I guess Honda has some bugs to work out. Good Luck.

Did you try talking to another dealer?
