I thought the seats sucked when I first got my vic too! My lower back would ache everytime I drove the thing. I was constantly reaching for a lumbar adjustment. It felt like the seat was sticking into my lower back so much that it was pushing me forward. After a few weeks, I came to love them. No more aches, and I have made several 3-4 hour trips and have had no back pain at all.

Yeah, I find that we have pretty good seats like Mbow. Longest I drove so far was 6 hours, and it was quite comfortable.

For me, the key is to keep the seatback as upright as you can, and still be safe and comfortable for driving. That may reduce some of the back pain you guys are getting.

i find if i drive 'ghetto' style they'll hurt my back quicky. but, if i put the seat in a 'sane' position they are acutally quite comfy.

I drive on a lot of long trips, 400-600 miles; the jury is still out. Sometimes on a trip I'm good, but on some trips my *** is falling asleep. I'm 5' 10" , 195lbs, (not fat, thank you). I think it has more to do with the vibration from the tires on surtain roads.

All I know is when my bonus from work comes in I'm going to get the Si Seats.

I can't say I love these seats. I also have had the seat rocking problem, and still do. Dealer supposedly fixed it but it still rocks. I'm just gonna deal with it until I've paid enough of this car that I can trade it in for something that has better build quality. Seems like HONDa really only cares about what's in the engine bay.

The rocking seat is a common problem. It's not something that's gonna decrease the value of the car but it's still annoying nonetheless. And like most problems, it isn't ON every car.

I do agree that Honda seats feel much firmer than the seats in other vehicles. But I find they have much better support and feel much more comfortable on long distance drives (Domestics feel like you are sitting in a damn bean bag chair).

Seat rocking is not only a Honda problem. My best friends 2000 Hyundai Accent (which is a damn snail) has both front seats rocking, it does not bother her but when I drove it bothered the hell out of me. By the way my car does not have this problem.
