Engine problems
ok here is my story. I got a 2002 lx auto and on thursday i put a injen cai it was great great next day i drive to fremont from modetso. When im driving back im gunning it but not that fast maybe like 90 or something like 100. Then my a/c dont work or the heater, then my right turn signal wasnt working so i be driving more then i smell a weird smell. i look at my temp gauge its al the way up and my engine was having problems running i go to a gas station open my hood there was coolant everywhere. so ive had the car for like 2 months im freaking pissed. i didnt wanna call a tow truck because people wud talk **** when they see my new car on the tow truck. So i added coolant and stuffand drove home very very slow. I got home and put my stock intake back on so i can take it to the dealer see why there was coolant everywhere. but now i still drive it with my stock intake everything is fine its weird. And oh if anyone wants a 1 day old injen rd ccai for auto hit me up

I hope the dealer doesnt notice that i put a aftermartket intake in then took it out and put a stock one back in. I hope they dont try to make me pay and stuff saying my cars suspension is the reason why

You would have been better off driving at about 70-80...keep the RPMs low, but go real fast...that way, you have the air to cool the engine. It would still get hot, but not too hot.

they said it was all fine except thermostat i was like wtf ok zand took my car home. Hey do they clean ur car too at service cause when i got it my rims were clean the car was washed and my tires were shiny
I had a similar problem though not with the radiator. It was the thermostat. The heater would heat well if i was moving but when i came to a stop it would just blow cool air. I took it to the dealer and we put a thermometer on the vent and the air was going from like 140 to 70 just by stopping the car. So i had to put a new thermastat in it. can't tell if it works now or not. it's summer and it gets hot as hell anyway down here. Will have to wait until the winter.
