I AM LOCKED OUT !!!!
i locked my trunk because i have a system in the trunk...and i locked it using the key near the gas latch ...i can't unlock the trunk by flipping the switch anymore because i can't unlock it.....is there a special way of unlocking this lock because i am scared i i might break the key trying to turn it...pardon but what am i doing wrong?

Same problem happened to me. I dont know why I was playing around with that thing. I would say turn it back and forth slowly. Make sure you listen for the click. IF that doesnt work, bring to dealer to fix that latch.

Can you drop the rear seats and use the emergency release inside the trunk to pop it open? Just a thought.....

i put my brother in my trunk and then like went inside my car and then the trunk opened i was like WTF and i found out their was an emergency release thing...it is pretty cool it like illuminates in the trunk a little...haha[IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG]

yeah the canadian models have the emergency latch too....but damn..i still can't get it open...i thought it was just my car....the reason i locked it was because i have my system in my trunk..just added security...but now when my car is running i have to turn it off to open the damn trunk....time to visit the dealer

um...... it may be just me being stupid, but can't you still open the trunk with a key at the trunk even if it's locked up front? if not, and you have a coupe, you could fold down the seats too.

Those locks are a ****. They are all hard to turn like that to my knowledge. All my hondas had locks that would not turn without busting a nut. They will turn but it will feel like the key is going to snap in half. I remember a salesman telling me that when I bought my accord. I don't ever lock it for that reason. You can try jiggling the back seat a little to help relieve some pressure. But like I said, it will turn but it will feel like the key is going to snap.
