Filling coolant with block empty

I'm doing my first head gasket on my 2004 civic ex and what would be the best procedure for refilling the coolant system, and start up procedure

Besides standard.
Jack front end up so that radiator is higher than engine.
Fill as much as you can.
Start car, turn on heat, hold at 2000 rpm for a minute turn off car.

fill radiator again, put on cap, fill overflow bottle to cold mark.

Drive in neighborhood until engine is fully warmed up with heat on, pull into driveway, let it idle till you,hear the cooling fan kick on then rev it to 2000 rpm for another minute then shut down.

Once it’s cooled down, check level in overflow and under cap. If you need to add more than 12ounce coke can, consider repeating.

Clearly keep checking level daily before driving until your Sure it’s staying full.
