Thanks. I tried that with foot long plier but it's hard (for me anyways) to get an angle to get at the wing-nut..even with the ps pump removed. The stick and hammer method took about two minutes to get it to proper tension.

If only there existed a 7th gen timing belt kit replacement: Ezone's method guide. It would have saved me a lot of time and stress..lol

I pry-barred a 5th & 6th gen alt belt..not sure why that didn't occur to me on this one.
