HVAC system out of control
HVAC system out of control
Hello
I driver a 2005 Honda civic DX manual. Yesterday I was soldiering a usb cable to the power of the cigarette lighter. After I started my car the blower went on full (even when off) and none of the buttons/settings on my temperature control are working (AC, rear defog, recirculate, temperature, blower setting or the air vent setting). I went to the junk yard today assuming the controller units were bad so I replaced them but the issue persists. Also it randomly goes away( everything normal) for 2-3 minutes then back to blower on full and nothing working. I have searched the internet for hours with no luck, if anyone has an idea of what it might be please do share or a wiring diagram for the HVAC system would be great as well.
Thanks

Re: HVAC system out of control
If you have checked all the fuses (there is likely more than one in this circuit)and the relay, you may have to undo your solder job. New head unit with a USB port instead?
