Bouncing in the back of car

Anyone notice how when you are rolling down the highway and you start hitting the dips in the road, the civics back portion of the car bounces like hell....my girl has a 94 civic and hers does that and i though it was only in her car and then i bought a 2k2 civic and it bounces around in the back like crazy if u are riding smooth and then hit an few uneven parts of the road

holla if u hear me

This is one of the many known problems for 7th gen civic and there are tons of thread in here on this problem alone. Consider yourself lucky if you have a 02 because Honda already retuned the suspension to tame the bouncy ride. If you ever get a chance to drive a 01 you'll see what I mean.

haha...knowing Honda...that'll be the last thing they'll ever do. Unless someone can prove the lousy suspension can causes a higher chance of getting into accident.

I hate the bounciness in the back They should have kept the 6thgen suspension. It would ride a whole lot better.

The rear suspension on our cars are actually double-wishbone. The front is only MacPherson struts... if you ever take your front wheel off, you should take a look at that POS.

I don't see a problem with the front MacPherson struts. It's the so call superior double wishbone at the back that bounces around.

Double wishbone doesn't mean **** if it's poorly design. And MacPherson is not inferior in any way. Each setup has its pros/cons and characteristics.

OCTANECOUPE---How do you like the ride with the Goldlines? I was planning on getting those particular springs for my civ. If the ride is good that will make my decision final!
