Fast response needed: Drilled accidental hole in trunk

LOL. Just by reading the title you can tell i'm a DUMBASS.

Installing the OEM spoiler on a 02 civic coupe and with my template foamy things I drill the hole for the harness. Well my dumbass forgets when the spoiler goes on the template is actually the other way. Ugh. So now I have this 10mm hole in my trunk that shows and doesnt work and need it patched up. See the pictures. What do I buy and how do I do it? Ik i wont get it perfect but I can live with it.

Thanks

I don't know **** about body work other than what I read on-line but here's my guess. Cheapest and probably easiest way might be to pull the trunk lid off the same year (or 7th generation), model and color from a junkyard.

Other option: You could either tack weld or possibly JB Weld a silver dollar-sized piece of sheet metal (Home Depot) from underneath the hole if it's not a braced area, then use Bondo on top, smooth and touch up paint. Even with touch up paint it will be most likely noticable but, much cheaper than remvong the lid and spraying it properly with base and clear coat.

I would probably go this route. If you keep the repair as small as possible it should be mostly hidden by the spoiler.
