Starts then dies!!! Help

Starts then dies!!! Help My daughters 04 starts only with cps unplugged. Checked voltage on blue wire and get about 5v. The voltage stays constant, plugged up to cps or unplugged to cps. The crank position sensor is new. Also the 5v doesn't change when engine is turned by hand. Please help.

Is this a Honda CPS?
Have you checked the service manual, which I have posted for your viewing pleasure?
The service manual includes some steps where you check measurements to the ECU.

My daughters 04 starts only with cps unplugged.
Start --then die in 2 seconds? Timing belt has jumped time.
EDIT: Wait a sec...What are you calling a CPS??? Cam position sensor (CMP) or Crank position sensor (CKP)??

At the PCM, or are you backprobed into the backside of the CKP connector?
Did you verify the integrity of the ground on the brown/yellow wire?
Have you carefully inspected the condition of the terminals inside the CKP connector?
The connector may be prone to moisture entry and terminals are subject to corrosion damage.
Also check the terminal tension, or "grip" of the female pins in the connector.

good ground and 12v. on other wires. I get constant 5v. like its getting 5v from another sensor. Does the constant 5v tell pcm to shut down? if so where is this 5v coming from?

You should see a 12v, a ground, and a 5v. (not sure about the order, I did not check a diagram)
The 5v comes from the PCM (bias voltage) on the CKP input line, the sensor should pull it to ground as the "trigger bumps" move past the sensor.
Is the crank pulley installed backwards somehow (IDK if that's even possible)?
Do the triggers line up with the sensor correctly?
Is the sensor alignment peg broken off, sensor misaligned or not close enough to the gear teeth?
