04 Civic DX Exhaust Manifold Help -PICS
First, thank you for the any help that you can provide. I have searched for the past few hours with no answer to this question.
Car just threw a P0420 code - cat converter.
The car seems to have fairly new sensors, and no signs or smells of a rotten cat.

Based on the pictures, it looks like the previous owner welded parts of the manifold, and in some parts the manifold still looks somewhat cracked. Based on previous experience, I have always had a honda manifold crack on me at some point.
Does anyone have any experience with this problem relating to the cat? The car idles and drives great!!!! I simply have a sore eye for a CEL on my dash.
Can anyone recommend an after market header I could replace this with?
Thanks for the help all!

I recommend modifying your setup so that your cat is under your car like the EX models. That gives you more options for headers, like the DC Sports one or even the stock EX one I'm selling!
If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

P0420=Needs a cat. Factory cat would fix all the exhaust manifold cracks for another 100k or so.
