2002 Civic EX AM Radio not working
2002 Civic EX AM Radio not working
Good day to all. I hope someone can help me out. For some reason my AM radio no longer works. FM and CD works fine. When I choose AM, it gives off a loud whistling tone throughout all the stations; no static, just this sound. I had the car in the shop last Wednesday (June 18th) in which they worked on my rear end, replacing the arms with new adjustable ones and four new tires. They also did an oil change and checked by A/C unit. Since then this issues has come up. Is something disconnected? A fuse? Please help.

Re: 2002 Civic EX AM Radio not working
Check the rear glass.
If it is a coupe, Looks like the top 3 (?) lines above the def grid are for AM antenna, the defrost grid itself is used as the FM antenna. Has an amp/splitter for the antennas.
If it's a sedan, looks like it uses just the top section for the antenna, no antenna amp.
Did any connectors get knocked off the rear glass?
Coupe: Is the antenna amp ("module") in the C pillar still good? Powered up when the radio comes on?
Antenna lead still connected to the radio?
Stock radio?
