Hello,

My cruise control on my 02' EX refuses to turn on. when i push the button on the dash, nothing happens, no lights turn on. If this makes a difference, the dash lights that illuminate the name "cruise" don't work either. What could be the issue?

Some common stuff I've seen:

Blown fuses

the 2 bulbs burn out in the cruise main switch by your left knee (switch still works, just has no lights), OR the switch was left disconnected after someone was in the dash

the brake light switch has a set of contacts specifically for the cruise control, occasionally they go bad or get out of adjustment

the cable for the cruise can break its 'wheel' on the throttle shaft

and the control unit causes the cruise to quit randomly when it's being used.


And I hear that LED taillights can screw with the cruise.

Get yourself a wiring diagram, a shop manual, and some test equipment and git to diagnosing!
