Where to locate manual to replace Steering Rack and Pinion for Civic '01?

Hi, forum. I'm new here and believe me, I tried searching all topics on the matter and perhaps I missed something.

All I'm trying to do is locate a manual or a step by step guide to replacing the steering rack and pinion of a '01 Civic. This will be my first major DIY project.

I would appreciate any help. I cannot afford the $1300 or so to get this fixed at shop and found a great OEM part deal.

Thanks greatly in advance

Honda factory service manual, Haynes and Chilton manual. That last two should be available at most parts stores.

I changed my rack a couple years ago. It is really easy on this generation of civic. And of course you'll have to get an alignment after you're done. You can save them and yourself some time and try to straighten you're own steering wheel.

Matt, thanks for the heads up. I'll make a quick trip to autozone and see if they have any of the latter two available.
