hey guys i just bought my civic last week and need some ideas on what to do with it. Ive never really been much of a car person but i guess that was always cuz i didn't have one lol. It already has an aftermarket intake and black 18" rims with low profile tires. I dont have alot of money to put into it but i wouldnt mind saving up for things that would either make it run, look or sound cool. Best bang for the buck kind of deal. Ive seen some things that seem pretty cool like bucket seats, racing seat belts, carbon fiber hood, blow off valve, exhaust, body kit, steering wheel and a shorter shift **** maybe? Idk, what do you think?

Do you want looks or performance?
Everything you listed is purely aesthetics. A blow off valve will do you absolutely NOTHING without a turbo system. I guess racing seats are nice (I have a set of Sparcos, myself), but I'd save that for later since quality seats will cost you a pretty penny. Mine cost me $2000 bought and installed. Don't bother with a racing harness unles you plan on tracking the car and getting a roll cage installed.
Best bang for you buck, especially with a 7th gen, will be in suspension. A single piece upper strut bar will run you $100. A decent suspension setup (struts/springs or coilovers) will run you ~600/1000, respectively.

Good to know. And what exactly would that strut bar do for me
