car won't pump fuel
car won't pump fuel
Hi everyone. First time poster long time Lurker. I am a diy mechanic. Don't necessarily enjoy it. But it beats the alternative. I had a timing belt break in my 2002 civic ex a year ago and had to replace the motor. Since this time the car ran great. Getting 30 mpg driving about 30-40 miles one way to work each day. Noticed that it started to kind of sputter at stop signs and red lights here and there. Thought about changing fuel filters and such, but life is busy and I'm full of exists and one day the car really spotters and dies as i am getting home from my commute. Upon doing Some research I changed the filters and the pump because I was not getting any fuel to pump out of the tank. When I go to get her going I Have the same problem... No fuel pumps. I then replaced the fuel pressure regulator... Nothing. I looked at the relay and it seems to click on and off as normal. I'm going to replace the relay as well just since I'm already 200 bucks into this problem. I was wondering if anybody had any ideas? I'm going to geta code reader to see if i get a code. Maybe a p0335 crankshaft sensor code? Would that affect the fuel pump? Any help would be great
