gas tank is leaking from the hose that connects to it
is this a metal or plastic tank?
My civic is 2005, 5 speed manual, d17a1
thereīs a hose clamp that I already checked but itīs tight.
Actually the gas is leaking from the union of the hose to the tank.
What can I do?
Thanks in advance for any help you could provide me.

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

On a US market 2005 Civic, the fill pipes are steel, the hoses are rubber, the gas tank is plastic.
The hose clamp you already said is tight-- it might be stuck and may need some penetrating oil to free it up, then you may be able to tighten it more.
Or replace the clamps.
