01 civic hard to start and flooding

my 01 civic just started this yesterday it will take about 5 minutes of cranking to get it to start it acts to me like its flooding but after it starts it runs good and it will start easy if you dont let it sit very long and after it starts it will smoke for a little bit then quit ive been trying to figure it out there are no codes i just need some help

What color is the smoke?
Put a scanner on it (gotta be able to read live engine data), see what the computer thinks the coolant temperature is when it acts up.

the smoke is grey/white and the coolant temp reads 20 degrees which is about right cause its pretty cold here sorry it took so long for the reply my internet has been out

You sure it isn't just steam? That's normal to see when it is cold outside.
Watch the tailpipes of other cars in traffic on a cold day, you'll see it.
Steam dissipates quickly. Real smoke hangs in the air for a loooong time.
Are you losing antifreeze? Are you losing oil?
More thoughts....
Gotta have compression, fuel and spark for an engine to run. At the correct times, and in the correct amounts.
Have you tried pulling plugs out when it won't start?
Are the plugs dry or wet at that time?
If wet, what are they wet with -- gas or antifreeze?
