Changing Timing Belt With Low Mileage
Changing Timing Belt With Low Mileage
I only have 68k miles on my 2004 civic.
Should I be thinking about changing the timing belt?
Or is it too soon?
The manual says the belt can go for 110k miles, however the car is about to be 10 years old.
What do you think?
Any input is appreciated.

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Quote from a USA sedan owners manual, page 139 "(Or every 7 years, whichever comes first)"
Seconded. Again.
