Car not the same after trans install
Car not the same after trans install
So This weekend I replaced my 01' trans with an 05' trans and got a new OEM clutch. Second gear works! The problem is now on the high way it makes a sound like something isn't spinning right. It also boggs a lot when shifting into first and second. Idk if that's because it's a different clutch and I'm not use to it or what. But it now sounds like garbage compared to before the trans install. Please help!

Surely you had it at a reputable establishment that warrants their work.
Take it back to whomever did the work, state your complaints there first.
If any work they performed wasn't done right, they should make it right.

Unfortunately I couldn't afford a shop to do the work. My boyfriend did the work for me. I was posting for any ideas since he says everything sounds good to him. It's not his daily driver it's mine so I can tell a difference.
