i have an 02 civic lx 2dr and i have had it for about a year and a half, but i have noticed a noise coming from the front end, it is when i go over a hole primarily, its like a knock sound. i have replaced the front swaybar bushings, as well as the compliance bushings on the car and it has somewhat helped the sound but it is still there. im wondering if anyone has similar issues or have heard of something like it. i do plan on replacing the struts on the car in the next month so might that be the problem.

Check your front motor mount. They're known to break and when the car dips you hear a subtle knock.

^ Yep.. tie rods too.. lower ball joint is sometimes a culprit. Also the upper bushing on the struts sometimes causes knocking when turning.
