Rear power door lock issues
I have a 2004 civic SE 4 door model and both rear power door lock (left & rigth) do not work.
I have verified fonctionality of both actuator by applying 12Vdc directly on the actuator and they work fine.
When activating the power door lock switch from the drivers side no power is measured directly at the connector (actuator side) on both doors (rear left and rear right).
Can someone please help me understand?
Thank you.

Re: Rear power door lock issues
The output line from micu drives 3 actuators. Passenger front and both rears.
If passenger front is operating... you may have an open connection.

i had the same problem, my problem was broken wires,
my wires were broken inside the rubber boot that connects the door to the frame of the car, everytime you open and close the door the wires inside that boot bend, so i guess over time they become brittle and break,
peel back that rubber boot and inspect the wires, i would bet money the wires are broken just like mine were

Re: Rear power door lock issues
You guys are right!!!!
Both rear doors had broken wires inside the rubber boot, I have soldered them back together but added a 6" wires in between in order not have the same problem again.
What really amazes me is that they both broke at the same time, not very impressed with Honda's vehicle integrators. Then again this is the type of failure that can not be reproduced during vehicule validation program.
Again thank you guys for the support.
