2002 Civic EX transmission
2002 Civic EX transmission
Over this past winter the transmission behaves abnormally when started up cold.
Normally when shifting from neutral into drive, there is a single surge as it engages. When cold it engages two to three different times before staying engaged. If the accelerator is pressed between the surges the car doesn't move.
Once it engages it operates normally. It only does it when cold.
Does this mean the pump is going bad? Any other suggestions?
