Droning type noise around 70mph!

Hi, My 2005 civic 1.7 disel has been making a droning sort of noise when i get up to between 68-72, It doesnt seem to make any noise past or before this point Any ideas whatit could be?

ah yes, one of the many offerings americans miss out on again. the diesel civic was built so well, it is hard to tell the difference from a gas powered civic since there is no visible pollution and no extra engine noise. on a nice summer day, the diesel version can easily get 65+mpg and has a whole lot of torque in the lower rpms (138hp and 250 ft/lbs!).

op, the noise could be coming from the engine. i know diesels tend to do this as they age. i am not sure if posible to get, but many diesel owners have been very happy using fp-60 diesel fuel additive from www.lubecontrol.com maybe worth asking if they can ship some to you.
