I've read a few other threads about similar problems with the green key symbol flashing, but my situation is a little different... Yesterday while driving I tried to push the gas and I got no acceleration. Luckily, I was able to coast to the side of the road, where my car then died. I tried to start it several times, and had to call a wrecker. I noticed today when I tried to start it that a green key was flashing, and read that it was related to the anti theft system. When I crank my car, it stays on for about 2 seconds, and then dies. The way my car was acting I was going to just replace the fuel pump, but I just wanted to make sure it wasn't a problem with the immobilizer so I don't waste my money. Does anyone know if the anti theft systems would cause this?
