Rep Power: 0 turbo timer issue ? is this normal to happen ??
i just finished installing my HKS type zero turbo timer on my 2005 LX and its working fine it shuts off the car and all , but when i remove my keys the check engine light comes on for a second and the car sort of "dies" the rpm goes down to zero and after 1 second back up to normal idle ? is this normal or did i miss something ??
i also cant lock my doors while the turbo timer is counting down but when its done i can lock them naturally , is this normal too ?? and can i fix this ??
sorry for the long post i searched the forum for a similar problem but couldnt find any ..

The turbo timer hooks into your ignition right? so that's why the doors won't lock. You can shut the door and lock it with the key. As far as the CEL, I don't know, haven't heard that one before. Read the manual that came with the timer to make sure you didn't miss anything.
