Couple of Problems: Door Locks and Check Engine

Hey all, it's been awhile since I've been on here, but I need a little help with my 02 EX. I'm having a couple issues with my car that I am hoping I could get some advice on how to fix?

Problem 1: My automatic door lock on my right door stopped working a couple of weeks back when I tried to unlock the door and pull the handle to open it at the same time. I can still lock, and unlock, my doors with my key, but only my passenger side works with the automatic door lock. I basically have to lock my drivers side with either the key or by hand with the inside lock at the top of the door. Any ideas on what the issue may be? I'm guesing the actuator, but I am not sure?

Problem 2: My Check Engine light intermittently turns on, and I am not quite sure why it does it. It has been happening over the past few years, but I have noticed a couple of things that have usually caused it to happen. When I get gas, and open the gas tank, it is more likely to either go on or off. Drastic changes in the weather usually seems to cause it to either turn off or on as well. Any ideas of what it could be? I'm thinking about buying a new factory gas cap to see if that helps.

Thanks for your help!

1) An actuator is likely.
Test before firing the parts cannon at it.

2) What code(s) are stored? THAT'S where to start.
Before firing the parts cannon at it.
