Walbro Install help
Ok so i am doing a walbro fuel pump install and a return line conversion. when i put the pump in i get no fuel. got power as i am running it from a battery charger for now just to get it going. when i put the pump on with just the pump itself and power i get fuel out. then when i blow air through the cap of the pump housing it does not come out unless i block the outlet to the old intank regulator. when i put the blocking hose on said regulator outlet and install i still get no fuel. i'm thinking the block hose isn't air tight. could that be the problem? i called dezod and they said to run the pump to a barb fitting cut into the top of the pump housing and run a braided line all the way up. unfortunately i'm so trying not to spend more money on this build as i still need coolant hoses to covert to the electric water pump and still have alot of work to do. it has been one thing after another with this build from a belt not fitting to sensors just snapping off for no reason blah blah.. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
Re: Walbro Install help
went to innovative motorsports today and they told me same thing as dezod. so i did the line straight from the pump out and used the stock as return. still no fuel.!!!
Re: Walbro Install help
Does any of the abs wiring affect the fuel pump. I'm tracing the diagrams and PGM FI 2 seems to go to an Inertia switch and then to the SRS and IGN via No. 17 (15A) blk/ylw?
I took out most of the abs system wiring and i have it all cut out of my dash harness!
ANYONE THERE?
