Lightbulb 04 Civic Si-G (EX) multiple newer issues.. plz help!!

Hey guys, haven't posted for a while, been busy.
I have a few new issues to pick your brain with...
1. Cruise control isn't working at all... No light on the button on left side of wheel, nothing on the dash, I have tested the fuse and it is OK.. wondering if anyone has any thoughts on where I should start with that?

Also..
2. My hood release latch is broken, missing... After doing an oil change on Saturday I went to add some washer fluid and ya my latch is gone.. I have yet to try using vice grips, but from what I have read that's my best bet.. anyone know where I can buy the new assembly from?

and finally my windshield wiper fluid spray thing on my passenger side isn't spraying the fluid anymore...

Thanks for your time and help guys.

1. Check electrical conections..fuse is good but is it the right size? (sorry if dumb ?)Maybe the connection to the back of the switch is bad..
2. Your best bet would be to check a junkyard or salvage yard it will cost a lot less then online.
3. Take a needle and stick it in the hole the fluid comes out of..most likely just clogged..you can also disconnect the hose and make sure it is not plugged.

Oh yeah..if its a manual trans mission then also make sure the clutch is coming all the way back up, i think there is a safety switch for the CC. (i might be wrong idk)

Thanks Gunner! I appreciate your advice on this, to answer some of your questions..
1.the fuse is in the right spot, double checked that when we tested it, i will double check on the size of the fuse, but i would assume its correct.
you could be right about the connection on the back of the switch, i get no light at all, and i know that the guy who owned the car before was an idiot with wiring, im still fixing issues with speakers and stuff.

2. like just take the wire and the latch off a wrecked car? could do that if i can find a 7th gen in the junk yard somewhere here...
from what i understand from the reading i have done in order to fix it you have to replace the whole cable as well as the latch..

3. you're probably right it looks like its blocked by something, so i will check it out.

thanks again

You can use a screw driver to pop your hood for now right? pop it and see if you can find your cable..if you can just connect the new one to it and pull it through...or maybe you will get lucky and be able to use the current one..

There is a trigger on the top of the clutch lever that lets the ECU know the clutch is engaged (pedal out), the cruise control will not work if the pedal isn't pressing the button or the sensor itself is bad. It might need a simple adjustment. Pull off the fuse panel then the kick panel and look up at the top of the clutch pedal. It's the bottom sensor, check to make sure the pedal is pressing the button when it's out, there is a little blue pad (at least blue on my car) that should press the button. If it's not making contact then you can adjust the sensor forward so the button is pressed when the clutch is out.

I'm not sure how to test if the sensor itself is bad, just somewhere to start.

The CC could be several things- CC master switch, steering wheel switches, brake pedal position sensor, clutch pedal position sensor (manual tranny), transmission range switch (auto and CVT trannys), or the CC unit itself (except D17A1 and D17A2 coupes)

First, are the brake lights even working? The CC won't work if the brake lights don't work.

Second, look for bad wires/connections at each switch, the CC unit under the dash and, the actuator in the engine bay.

Third, if it isn't one of those then do the brake sensor test/adjustment. If the sensor is good then post back and I'll give ya the other tests.

If the cable is there then all you need is the latch. Unless the center support isn't there. Then you'll have to have it welded in or drill holes and bolt it on like I did. It's number 11:http://www.hondapartscheap.com/index...ONT%20BULKHEAD New latch is number 5: http://www.hondapartscheap.com/index...component=HOOD
