01 EX 5sp Radiator fan not working properly
Ok so I moved to Florida recently and had my 01 EX taken into a small auto shop that had good reviews and asked for an oil change an engine tune and just generally make sure the drivetrain was in good shape (the clutch has been making a creaking noise but ill save that for another post) So get the car back from the shop gave it a good little 20 mile drive and everything seems fine and it feels much better to drive than it has in a while. So next day take the car up to daytona, fine on the way up, way back A/C starts blowing hot air. Get home realize its a blown fuse, replace A/C blows cold air again but the radiator fans only turn when the A/C is on. This worries me for 2 reasons. 1-it was hotter than hell that day the engine had to be 200F by the time we got back 2- everytime ive ever checked under the hood on a day over 90F the fans have been turning. Also when the A/C isnt running the engine makes a noise which I can only describe as "off". Im thinking it might be the thermostat. First post, any help is greatly appreciated.
