Greasy Windows

About a month ago I noticed that my windows were covered in a thin layer of sludgy grease. I had no idea how it happened. I just cleaned it with windex and paper towels, but about a couple days ago I noticed that it's happening again. It happens when the windows go down and then back up, and if I leave the windows down partially then bring em back up, a very clear horizontal line of grease is visible on the window where they went down to. It's obvious that there's a fabric part in the door that's dirty and it's getting the windows all lubed up. It's gross, and it's annoying. At one point it was so bad that it's like I was looking through an aquarium when looking though the windows.

I'll probably have to take apart each door to clean whatever is dirty, unless there's a product that can do it? Are the doors hard to take apart? I've done it before on a corolla and it was easy. Also, What the hell caused this???

Re: Greasy Windows

door panels are easy to remove, its prolly grease from the regulator that touched the glass and made a mess when you rolled up and down. first find what did it and clean up around that area, then clean off the fabric (which will be easy with the panel removed).

Ty for the DIY! Where'd you get those tweeter panels? I didn't know they existed for the sedan
