Any help I have a 2004 civic EX with cruise control. I just bought the car friday. I pushed the cruise control button and the green light came on. when i try to set the cruise it does not work. I have tried all speeds and gears. Also i heard that it could be because of a cold air intake installed has anyone heard that? Any help would be great.

The green dash light or the green cruise light underneath and to the left of the steering wheel? If it's the second one, I would first check the connection to the wheel controls, and then if that doesn't work buy a new cruise unit off a junked civic. Does the dash light light up when you try to set the speed?

I have the same problem on my 01 civic lx. The button light turns on, I hit set/decel, the green light on the dash lights up yet nothing. i let my foot off the pedel and get nothing.

No when i push the set button nothing happens.

I'm not sure... but I'd start by replacing or checking the buttons on the steering wheel.
