Alternator issue very odd..anyone else have this

Ok ive got a 03 civic 1.7 105 on it now had 102 when i picked it up. History on the car picked it up real cheap had a messed up front bumper tires and winsheild. owner berfore me told me that he replaced the battery and altantor with ones for autozone. i let the car sit for a few months did some things that were over due. oil change timing belt tires and wheels all belts were changed. started driving the car battery wouldnt hold a charge. changed it with a new one from carquest autozone tested bad anyways. after that the car would start in the morring and everything i drive an hour one way to work. so it seems to be geting chraged by the altantor. I noticed that after letting the car sit for a few days battery was dead. so i then played around noticed humming coming for the altantor. had it test said somthing was drawing on the system i then unpluged the altantor and the sysem checked out. So i changed the altantor with a denso one about 2 weeks ago. go to start it this morring dead pop started it and went and have it tested same thing again is this normal or did i just happen to get a bad alt again or could the ecu make it draw like this ?

Its the altantor. I just went outside pluged it in it draws curent and as soon as its unpluged you hear it stop thats the eletircal connector on the altantor. the autozone one did this and now the denso one is possbile that somthing else is the cause besides the altantor ?

You have a PARASITIC DRAW. How much clearer can I be? If you had actually read my post you would google "parasitic draw". From that you would find out that you either have A) A light with a burnt out bulb still on. or B) A power wire grounding out. If you can't surmise from that to check your wiring then there is no hope for you. Do your own thinking instead of letting other people do it for you. DAM!

How are we supposed to know if you don't post it?

Re-check the harness, especially where it goes into the firewall and where it's clipped in place. Don't just look at it, feel every wire bundle with your hand. Usually they are bad on the underside due to sitting on something that vibrates for years.

After some research: Inspect the white/green wire between the alt and ECM connector B:

***DO NOT CHECK THAT WIRE FOR CONTINUITY.***

You have to have an HDS (Honda Diagnostic System) to jump the SCS line or you will fry the ECM/PCM.

Do not unplug or replug the alternator on a Honda while it's running!!!
Bad no no noopie!!! Alternator death!!!
You can get away with that on an OLD one wire Ford or Chevy Alt.
Is the CEL on?
