knocking suspension only when moving slow.

i have read some of the knocking suspension threads, but i'm wondering if anyone have a problem like mine. I hear my driver side front suspension knocking ONLY when I drive in reverse and turning steering left to right or right to left, it just feel like something is loose. During normal driving suspension somehow feel very solid. I'm not sure if I should take my car to dealer cause i don't think it's a major problem and if I take it to dealer I afraid they might add more problem instead of fixing it(my previous experience with dealer was not that present). Beside that knocking noise I have no problem with my civic. So finally, my question is that any of you have a knocking noise when going reverse? if so did you fix it? what was the problem?
FYI: my car is a 2k1 civic EX, 5spd, with 13,xxx miles on it.

This was discussed a while back... not sure if it's the same thing.

Most people would hear a "clicking" sound when reversing, or moving forward after reversing. Someone found out that it was the brakes pads seating themselves, which was completely normal and not a problem.

Do you guys actually hear a loud "knock", or is it actually a "clicking" sound ? Cuz if it's the clicking sound, then there's nothing to worry about.

If it is a knock, then it's most likely a leaking strut.

I hear mine as I brake going slow in 1st gear or reverse. It's a knocking sound... it bothers me. A dealer would tell me it's normal but I still wonder about that service bulliten... i have to look at that thread.
