Installing return style fuel pump

I am going to install the Walbro fuel pump on my 01 but I am not really certain as to where I am supposed to pull my return from the fuel rail. Any info would be appreciated. Pics would be better. Thanks

Either

A) Custom route where you get a return bung welded on the opposite end of the fuel rail and install the FPR downstream of the fuel rail

or

B) I was told that this route works, too, as a way of doing the return style fuel system without having to modify your fuel rail. I can see the theory of how it works, but I can't tell you from a physical standpoint.

I was given this info back in Summer '07, when I was really looking into boost.

Any liquid in an enclosed space acts as a solid (equal pressure in all directions). With the one-way valve on the return line it's an enclosed space. As long as you have pressure you'll have fuel.

Like I said, I know how it works in theory. Fluid dynamics was pretty much everything with regards to my job when I was in the Navy.

I guess what I meant by "physical standpoint" is I haven't personally done it. Poor choice of words on my part

OK I will look into it. Right now I have an aftermarket FPR because its already turbo'd but the PO didn't do anything else to the fuel system. I may just let someone do this one for me. Side note. How many people have used these oil filter sandwich plates?

Re: Installing return style fuel pump

has anybody on here actually done this to their car? I have seen a DIY on clubrsx but would like to see one on a 7th gen civic.
