Door Locks stopped working...

Hey guys as the title states: My door locks stopped working. I've been putting up with it for a few months now and I believe it may be the lock actuator. Could it be something else? First it was my passenger lock that stopped functioning and now my driver's side lock stopped functioning...

Re: Door Locks stopped working...

Using a test light, or strand of LED (like i did)

take out the connector to actuator, there shud be 3 metal prongs

1 obviously is ground, 1 is positive for lock, 1 is positive for unlock

Tap into the ground on your ground wire, or hold it against a screw on door panel
Take positive of test light to touch 1 of the positive prongs

Then lock/unlock your car to see if the light goes on, if it does, the actuator is bad
