Clicking noise in 04 MT LX

Clicking noise in 04 MT LX
For about 20k miles now, I have had this light clicking noise in my LX. It only occurs when I let off the clutch and have a load on the car. Whenever I hit the gas it will "click" and when I let off the gas it will "click" when the car is in gear. Haven't really got down and dirty looking into it, but figured I would ask you guys if you have had anything similar and what it ended up being and maybe I could check that out first. I know it isn't anything with the clutch assembly for it doesn't do it when I just let in and out on the clutch in neutral. Now it could be something trans related in gear, I don't know. Any diagnostic advice is appreciated, as I do most of my own fix its, but the diagnostic part I am more of a C- student...
